Piburgersee
The lake is a popular destination for young and old. At the lakeside bath swimming is allowed, rowing boats are available for rent. In summer, the lake reaches water temperatures of up to 24° Celsius – therefore it is one of the warmest swimming lakes in Tirol. Myriad hiking routes and walking trails from Oetz, Habichen, Piburg or Sautens take you to lake Piburger See. Mountain bikers and E-bikers can reach the lakeside swimming bath either from Oetz via Elsinger Weg trail or from Habichen via Randweg trail. Cycling around the lake is not allowed.

Stuibenfall
Scenic "Horlachbach" brook rushes down from Niederthai into the valley from a height of 159 meters. The several meter-high area filled with water crystals can be seen from far. These clouds of water dust particles also gave the name to the "Stuibenfall".
The water particles are said to have refreshing and varied other positive effects on the hikers' health. The positive effect is scientifically proven, especially close to the water dust you are on the ion platform.
Miners Trail - Wetterkreuz
Miners Trail Hochoetz with Wetterkreuz
This high elevation trail takes you from the Hochoetz Panorama Restaurant to Bielefelder Hütte and further on to Wetterkreuz. Proceed to Wörgetal until you get to the reconstructed Miners House in original style with stamping mill - a kind of stone mill for crushing ore. Continue to the (decayed) Obere Issalm before you reach the Balbachalm and return to the Panorama Restaurant via Kühtaile Alm.
